on 8/26/2009 What a lovely article! Good info! Providing host plants in your butterfly garden is an excellent way to attract female butterflies who will then lay their eggs on the leaves of the host plant. The host plant differs depending on the butterfly species, so be sure to check your local nursery for plants that would provide a suitable 'birthing' environment for larva and soon to be butterflies. Five stars for all your great info. *****
