Things You'll Need:
- Box chocolate cake mix
- Miniature chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups powder sugar
- Cupcake liners
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Make the cake mix as directed on box with eggs, oil and water. Add in 1 cup of miniature chocolate chips. -
Step 2
Fill each cup in a muffin tin lined with cupcake liners. You should get about 24 cupcakes from the recipe.
-
Step 3
Bake cupcakes according to directions on cake mix box.
-
Step 4
Make frosting. First, cream butter and peanut butter on high with a mixer. After mixture becomes light and fluffy, add milk and powder sugar. Mix slowly until sugar is all mixed in then turn speed up to high and mix again until fluffy.
-
Step 5
Once the cupcakes are done and completely cooled, transfer frosting to a quart size freezer bag. Cut on corner off the bag to make a small opening to frost the cupcakes.
Be sure the cupcakes are completely cool or the frosting will melt right off of them! -
Step 6
Frost all cupcakes and then sprinkle with more miniature chocolate chips for decoration. Enjoy!!!
