Put a Fluffy Pillow into a Tight Pillowcase

Are your tired and frustrated from struggling to put a pillowcase on a fluffy, overstuffed pillow? Here's a quick and easy way to accomplish this task.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Turn the pillowcase inside-out.

  2. Step 2

Use your hand to grab the center of the closed end of the inside-out pillowcase.

  3. Step 3

With that same hand and still holding the pillowcase, grab one end of the pillow.

  4. Step 4

While holding the pillow and the pillowcase together, pick the pillow up so the pillowcase (still inside-out) is flat against one side of the pillow.

  5. Step 5

The pillowcase's open end is now toward the floor. Put your other hand inside the pillowcase's open end.

  6. Step 6

With your hand still holding the closed end of the pillowcase and the pillow, bring your hand still inside the open end up to your opposite hand. Place each side of the open end over the edges of the pillow.

  7. Step 7

While still holding the closed end of the pillowcase and the pillow, bring the open end of the pillowcase down as far as you can over each side of the pillow. The pillowcase will now be turned right-side out and the seams will line up with each side of the pillow.

  8. Step 8

Remove your hand from inside the pillowcase and finish pulling the pillowcase over the pillow. Shake the pillow down further into the pillowcase if necessary or desired.

  9. Step 9

The seams of the pillow will be straight against the edges and the pillow will be completely and evenly covered using less time and effort.
