1
Locate the spot to load the paper on the top of the fax machine. Make sure to adjust the movable plastic guides to fit the type of paper you are planning to use.

2
Get the stack of paper ready. According to the Brother Intellifax manual, this model can hold up to 200 sheets of paper at a time, so make sure the amount of paper you are loading is less than this amount. It is also a good idea to fan the paper, like you do a stack of cards, to avoid paper jams.

Tips & Warnings
Remember that the side of the paper that you wish to print on should be facing the front of the fax machine.
It is important to note that in order to receive faxes, you must only use either letter, legal or A4 paper. Other paper sizes will not work properly. Also, if you are using legal or A4 paper to receive faxes, you must change the paper settings under the main menu options.
