How to Switch From AT&T to T-Mobile

Contacting T-Mobile

Call T-Mobile at 1-877-453-1304. Tell the representative the status of your AT&T account.

Ask if T-Mobile will take care of the ETF (Early Termination Fee) from AT&T if you commit to a service contract.

Confirm whether or not you want to move your current AT&T number to T-Mobile. If you do, then sign up for a T-Mobile plan.
Terminating AT&T & Confirming Switch

Call AT&T at 1-800-331-0500. If T-Mobile contacted AT&T for you, you will be asked to confirm the switch.

Deny any last minute attempts by representatives to maintain your service.

Confirm that your number has been transferred (if requested).

Request that your information be removed from AT&T's records.

Contact T-Mobile. Give the representative your T-Mobile account information. Verify that your old number has transferred and that your account is active!
