DIY Lash Extension
Eyelash extensions are usually done in a salon by a professional makeup artist. However, there are do-it-yourself eyelash extension kits that allow you to get the same length and fullness without paying salon prices. The process is similar to applying fake eyelashes, but the adhesive for the extensions lasts up to four to six weeks compared to a few days for fake eyelashes. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- DIY eyelash extension kit, including individual lashes and adhesive
- Tweezers
- Small piece of cardboard or plastic

Remove any eye makeup. Make sure your eye area is clean and completely dry.

Pour a few drops of the adhesive onto a small strip or cardboard or plastic to make it easier to access.

Pick up an individual lash with the tweezers and gently dip it into the adhesive.

Lift your upper eyelid with your finger to expose your upper lash line.

Carefully attach the individual lash onto the upper lash line. Press firmly with the tweezers and hold for about three to five seconds.

Attach about 10 to 12 individual pieces on each lash line. Allow about 30 minutes for the glue to dry before putting on makeup or washing your face.

Tips & Warnings
Over the course of 4 to 6 weeks, both your false and real lashes may fall off. This is natural and you shouldn't worry.
If the adhesive gets inside your eye, splash your eye with water for about five minutes.
