How to Get Email With Palm Centro

The Palm Centro is a user- and budget-friendly smart phone that provides many of the same functions as its more expensive counterparts. The Palm Centro carries mobile Internet capabilities, which makes it easy to get emails and other information while on the go. However, the email function needs to be set up before it can be used on the Palm Centro. Please note, the steps for AT&T and Sprint Palm Centro users are the same except for having different installation software (AT&T Xpress Mail and Sprint Mobile Mail).

Things You'll Need:

• Mobile Internet service plan (AT&T or Sprint)

1. Turn the phone on and check that a data connection is available. The data connection is indicated by either a black triangle or two green arrows that will appear on the signal icon.

2. Press the "Home" button and select the AT&T Xpress Mail or Sprint Mobile Mail icon.

3. Install Xpress Mail/Mobile Mail and select "Yes" to connect to Internet prompt.

4. Select "Save" and then "Reset." The phone should take around five seconds to restart.

5. Press the "Home" button and select the Xpress Mail/Mobile Mail Icon.

6. Select "OK" once you have read the license agreement and the terms and conditions.

7. Select "Next" once you enter and confirm your phone number.

8. Choose your email provider. If it is not listed on the first menu, select "More" to view additional email providers. Select "Next" once the email provider is selected.

9. Type your Username and Password for the email account and select "Next" and "Register."

10. Select your email account from the Xpress Mail/Mobile Mail menu, which will automatically send you to your email inbox.
