How to Design Meet the New Neighbors Party Invitations

One way to form a tight knit community is to ensure that everyone knows one another. This can be done through community boards who are responsible for welcoming and recognizing newcomers. If you do not have a community board, you can take the initiative to begin a welcoming protocol yourself. In welcoming the new neighbors you want to make sure that the other neighbors are aware of the party you are throwing. An easy way to do this is to create "Meet The Neighbors" party invitations. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Gather information from the new neighbors, such as their names, careers and hobbies. Ask them if you can take pictures of them to go on the invitations.

    • 2

Open a program on your computer such as Adobe Illustrator or Microsoft Word in which you can design invitations.

    • 3

Type your title, "Meet the Neighbors," on the invitations. Make the title's font bigger so it stands out clearly.

    • 4

Type "What," "Where" and "When" fields on your invitation. Enter the all of the details next to the fields. In the "When" field be sure to include the date and the time. Also include an RSVP so that you have an idea of how many neighbors will attend.

    • 5

Insert pictures of the new neighbors so the other neighbors will know who they are. If you don't have pictures of the new neighbors, insert other graphics such as balloons or other party graphics.

    • 6

Type the names of the new neighbors beside their pictures. Include other information about them that you obtained earlier to help introduce the new neighbors to the neighborhood.

    • 7

Save your invitation when you have finished.

    • 8

Print the invitations out to pass to the other neighbors.
