1
Choose an Internet search engine. Google (www.google.com) is always a popular choice, but other good search engines include www.yahoo.com and www.bing.com
-
2
Search for the song using the search engine you selected. You have several ways to do this, depending on your specific needs. You can either enter the song's title, the singer's name, a string of words from the song itself, or a combination of any of the above. It's a good idea to add the word "lyrics" to your search to narrow the results.

View the websites that appear in the search. Some of the sites may just have generic information like the artist's name or the title of the song, but others may have all of the specific lyrics and may even let you listen to the song online. Scan each site for the information you are seeking. If you are not able to find what you want, use the sites to gather more information and then repeat the search again with the new information you collected.

Tips & Warnings
If your internet search returns too many results, try putting quotation marks around the keywords. Usually doing so will return more relevant sites.
Beware of downloading songs off of the Internet. Even if you only plan to listen to a song to find out the words for a particular part of the song, it can be illegal to download these files without permission from the artist that created the song.
