Instructions

    • 1

Learn chest pops. Deeply inhale air into your diaphragm, lifting your shoulders and thrusting your chest forward. Allow the rhythm of the music to guide your movements.

    • 2

Learn shoulder rolls. Roll your shoulders backwards or forwards, allowing the music to guide how quickly you roll.
Roll your shoulders in tandem or one at a time.

    • 3

Learn arm swings and punches. Your options range from hand grabs to punches.
Starting in a battle stance (legs shoulder-width apart), thrust straight punches into the air. Accentuate your moves and add a statement of attitude by incorporating arm swings.
Still in a battle stance, swing your arms back and forth, crisscrossing them.

    • 4

Learn the foot stomp. Lift one leg and then slam it down, always allowing the rhythm of the music to determine how quickly or slowly you raise and lower your legs.

    • 5

Learn leg pops. Working from your thighs and knees, create a locking or popping effect. Simply pop the legs out controlling the motion through your thighs and knees.

    • 6

Learn to buck bang. Including the overall body, use chest pops, arm swings and foot stomps together to create a full-body move. Swing your head and neck as you move to rhythm of the music.
