Things You'll Need
- Quikrete Concrete Repair
- Scissors or knife
- Push cartridge as used for caulk guns
- Cleaning cloth

Using scissors or a sharp knife, cut the spout of the Quikrete tube to make a 6- to 9-millimeter hole.

Place your Quikrete cartridge in a standard caulking gun. Push the cartridge tip over the surface of the steps and force the Quikrete deep into any cracks or areas needing repair, making sure to apply it at a thickness no greater than nine millimeters at a time. On horizontal surfaces, you may need to fill deep with sand before applying Quikrete.

If necessary, smooth out the Quikrete with a flat metal tool. Any remaining Quikrete can typically be removed with a wet cloth or towel.

Reapply Quikrete at a future date following the steps above if further cracks appear.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure to wipe away any excess Quikrete immediately following application, as it can be tougher to do so once it dries. Do not apply Quikrete if rain is expected within 12 hours.
