Remove spots of wheel nut grease from your carpet with a brown paper bag, clothes iron and carpet shampoo. Remove any excess grease with paper towels or old rags first. Then, use a pair of scissors to cut out a piece of the paper bag; it should be large enough to extend beyond the grease spot a few inches on all sides. Place the bag over the stain and hold a warm clothes iron on it for a few minutes. The heat will melt the wheel grease, while the paper will absorb it. Lift the iron and the paper up. Clean up any residue with carpet shampoo.
