Things You'll Need:
- Soap Scum Remover, or Bathroom Cleaner That Removes Soap Scum
- A Shammy or String Mop
- A Bucket
- Sponge Mop
-
Step 1
Spray a good coating of soap scum remover on the floor of the shower or inside of the bathtub. Let the remover stand on the floor or bathtub for about 10 minutes.
-
Step 2
Fill the bucket with very warm water. Dip the mop in the bucket and wring it out just to where it is not dripping.
-
Step 3
Mop the shower floor, or mop out the inside of the tub from the rim to the base. The soap scum remover should be sudsing as you mop.
-
Step 4
Rinse the shower or tub, using the bucket. If the shower or tub has a shower head with a spray hose, then this will make rinsing very easy.
-
Step 5
If the walls of a shower are very tall, then you can spray the remover on the walls, and use a damp sponge mop to clean them. A good rinsing aid for the walls of a shower is a very big, very wet rag. Dip it into your bucket, and barely ring it out. It will take the soap off and rinse at the same time.
