Pedicure Perfection

Relax and pamper yourself after a long day with a pedicure. Just as great as a professional pedicure. You'll save time, money, and feel great!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tub or Basin
  • Bath Salt or Epsom Salt
  • Foot File or Pumice Stone
  • Cotton Balls
  • Nail Polish
  • Top & Base Coat Polish
  • Polish Remover
  • Clippers/Nail File
  • Foot Scrub
  • Lotion
  • Chair
  • Towel
  1. Step 1

    Prep:
Place chair facing the tub. Fold your towel and place it along the edge of tub. Run 7 inches of warm water into tub. While running add 1/2 Bath or Epsom salt. Let dissolve. Be sure all other supplies are in reaching distance of your chair.

  2. Step 2

Use polish remover and cotton to remove any old toenail polish. (If your cuticles seem dry add a few drops of olive oil to cotton.)

  3. Step 3

Soak feet in warm water for a minimum of 5 minutes. (This is the perfect time to get in a few pages of a book or magazine.)

  4. Step 4

Apply small amount of Foot Scrub to Pumice Foot Stone. Scrub feet gently paying close attention to heels and balls of feet. This combination will exfoliate and soften your feet. Rinse.

  5. Step 5

Place feet on towel. Clip toenail straight across and round edges with nail file.

  6. Step 6

Massage favorite lotion into feet, ankles, and calves. Use cotton to remove any lotion from toenails.

  7. Step 7

Place cotton in between toes to separate. Apply base coat, color, and top coat. Let each coat dry before applying the next one. Let your finished nails continue to dry at least one hour.

Tips & Warnings
  • Apply a fresh top coat every three days to avoid any chipping polish.
  • Apply olive oil to cuticles and lotion to feet before bed. Wear thin cotton socks and feel the difference in the morning!
