  • Medium saucepan
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • Whisk
  • 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • Dried basil (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)

      Pour 1 pint of heavy cream into a medium saucepan and warm it over medium-low heat.

      Add 1/2 cup of softened butter and whisk until it's melted.

      Incorporate 3/4 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese into the mixture. Stir the mixture until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
