Mohawk are slowly coming back into trend, Men & Women alike are going with wild to sophisticated styles. There are many variation's to consider. I have started growing a Mohawk and became interested after my 5 yr. old insisted on one himself he chose to have an Indian look for me I'm currently growing mine to a full long look . To start a Mohawk I would suggest doing a image search to look at what would best suit you,Bing is a really great source. Then a great pair of clipper's, if your doing it yourself! You can also consider coloring, some are extreme and some very natural.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Image search
  • Style
  • Clipper's
  • or a Hairdresser
  • Hair! LOL!
  1. Step 1
     

    Do your research.
    Start with a Image Search, I love Bing!

  2. Step 2
     

    Once you've decide your look, Prepare the hair by a fresh washing & Blow dry.

  3. Step 3
     

    Seperate the hair you intend to shave.

  4. Step 4
     

    Adjust clipper setting's and Begin to shave the area's needed. You can go smooth on the side's or whatever your desired length.

  5. Step 5

    Also there's a great pair of clipper's that you can get a Sally's Beauty Store called Tattoo! There great for cutting out shape's and design's!

    Even if you don't chose the Mohawk!

Tips & Warnings
  • There are lot's of different styles out there go threw lot's of image's before making a hasty decision!
  • Start with small step's.
  • Use largest attachment and work your way down until you get the desired look.
  • If your not comfortable doing this yourself and are considering a hairdresser try to print off your image to take with you.
  • Elmer's Glue is a superb product for Mohawk's and very inexpensive!
  • Also Mane & Tail Shampoo and Conditioner is a great hair product to grow length fast.
  • When considering extreme coloring you may want to consult your hairstylist.
  • Bleaching too often can cause breakage!
