Many people think that yeast infection only occurs in women. However, men can also get male yeast infection as well. Usually, men get male yeast infection from their partners. Men can also get yeast infections from drinking alcohol, or taking antibiotics. It is important to make to get tested if your partner has yeast infection, otherwise you could continue passing the infection back and forth.

    The first step to cure male yeast infection is to determine the cause. If you feel the infection came from eating moldy food such as bread or drinking alcohol, throw those foods away and stop drinking the alcohol. That way you won’t continue feeding the yeast.

    The next step required to cure male yeast infection is to go to your doctor and get a prescription for anti fungal medication. Some anti fungal medication must be taken orally or you may be prescribed a cream.

  3. Step 3

    If you want to try to cure male yeast infection naturally, put some yogurt on the affected area. The bacteria from yogurt should help in reducing the yeast. You may also want to put vinegar with warm water on the affected area.
