How to Awaken Dragon Statues in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon

The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is an action/adventure game. Players control the characters Spyro and Cynder for various sections of the game. There are certain sections (such as the Dragon Statues) that require them to work together to advance.

Instructions

Awakening the Dragon Statues

1. Make note of the positioning of the two statues. You will see that there are two keys in the direction of each statue.

2. Climb the vines to head towards one of the statues. Take out the minor enemies that get in your way.

3. Using the swing-flame ability to get the four mid-air torches. This will allow you access to the first key. Take the vortex that opens back to the statue. Place the key in the statue.

4. Take the last vortex to access the second statue. Use the shadow ability to get past the purple gate. Go to the lower level to uncover more vines.

5. Command Cynder to climb up and hang upside down. This will allow you (Spyro) to use the lightning ability on the switch to move the columns back, allowing you access.

6. Go to the columns. At this point, Cynder will hang onto the giant key. When he does this, he will reveal the final key that you need for the statue. Have Spyro get the key.

7. Take the vortex back and head to the right. Get rid of any enemies that get in your way. Eventually, you will reach a lever. Pull it to reveal some orbs.

8. Collect one orb (leave the others) and hold on to the raft. Go across the area. Drop the orb on the side of the tuning fork.

9. Use the fear ability on both the orb and tuning fork. Leave the orb where it is and fly over the chasm. Turn the other tuning fork to create a bridge.

10. Quickly fly back to get the orb. Use the bridge to get to the orb switch.

11. Take the vortex back. Put the key in the other statue.
