Every Halloween party needs a great bowl of eyeballs. This Halloween craft is safe for children of all ages and will leave all the party guests screaming for more.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Pick the grapes from the vine. The grapes should be picked off the vine and placed into the large dark bowl. There should be no stems attached to any of the grapes. The stems will give away that the bowl is full of something other than slimy eyeballs.

  2. Step 2

Dry the grapes. Using paper towels, dry the grapes in the bowl. The oil used to make the grapes feel like eyeballs will not attach to the outside of the grapes if they are covered in water.

  3. Step 3

Add the oil to the bowl. Once the grapes are dry, begin adding the oil a little at a time. Mix the oil in with the grapes with your hands. Make sure not to add too much oil. The key is to cover the grapes with a slimy surface without leaving oil in the bottom of the bowl.

  4. Step 4

Leave out at room temperature. Eyeballs are not cold. If the bowl is placed in the refrigerator, make sure to leave it out at room temperature for a few hours before the party to take the chill off this Halloween craft.

  5. Step 5

Blindfold the guests. The guests will need to be blindfolded before feeling inside the bowl. The effect on the mind is amazing.

Tips & Warnings
  • A dark bowl is used to hide what is inside the bowl for peeking Halloween party guests.
