In many cases, the cause of this is a problem with the water pump, which is the part that removes the water from the washer after each cycle. Does this Spark an idea?

  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Wooden blocks (at least 6 inches high)

Instructions

    • 1

      Prop the front side of the washer up on the blocks so you can reach the bottom more easily.

      Find the three screws on the lower edge of the bottom panel.

    • 3

      Unscrew the three screws, starting with the middle one. Put them in a place where you can find them easily later on.

    • 4

      Tap the panel gently on each side to pull it off, if it doesn't come off easily after removing the screws.

    • 5

      Look on the right-hand side next to the washer drum to find the pump.
