Juggling is a fun and entertaining art that goes back a long time in history. In fact, juggling dates back to the Egyptians, over 4,000 years ago. To be a good juggler, you need to have good balance and coordination. Once, you've mastered the basics of juggling, you can juggle just about any small object. People juggle balls, hankerchiefs, bowling pins, and many other objects. This article will teach you the skills you need on becoming a great juggler.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 Balls
  • 3 Hankerchiefs
  • 3 Bean Bags
  • Yardstick
  1. Step 1

One simple juggling technique that you can do to develop hand-eye coordination is to balance a yardstick on the palm of your hand. Try to focus on the top of the stick. After you have mastered this, try to balance the yardstick on the tip of your nose to further develop coordination.

  2. Step 2

Practice juggling first with two balls. Hold a ball in each of your hands. Toss one of the balls gently into the air. When it reaches its peak, toss the other ball into the air. Catch the left ball with the right hand, and vice versa.

  3. Step 3

When you have mastered the two ball toss, try the three ball toss. Hold two of the balls in your right hand and one in the left. Toss right and then toss left. Catch left and then toss right. Catch right and then catch left. Repeat this.

  4. Step 4

Work on your rythmn and smoothness in tossing the balls. Try to toss the balls in the same spot. You can practice with some soft bean bags or scarves until your hand-eye coordination improves. The key to learning how to juggle is to practice, practice, practice.
