- Garlic. Rock salt.

Place a clove of garlic with a little bit of rock salt directly on the tooth that is giving you pain. If you are feeling pain in your mouth but not sure what tooth is giving you the pain, you can use a larger piece of garlic to cover several teeth simultaneously.

You can also apply an ice pack to the side of your face that is hurting. Hold the ice pack to your face for at least 10 minutes. You may have to remove it for a few seconds because it may be too cold at first. But, doing this at the same time as applying the garlic should give you immediate relief.

It is also a good idea to chew a piece of garlic every morning. This, not only, will relieve you of pain but will also make your teeth stronger and healthier.
