  • one quart of water
  • 10 bags of green tea
  • sugar half cup
  1. Step 1

    Enjoy a tall glass of refreshing green tea with ice with these simple instructions ;

  2. Step 2

    Remove ten green tea bags from the package.

  3. Step 3

    In a pot bring to boil the quart of water.

  4. Step 4

    On the onset of the water boiling drop the ten green tea bags into the pot.

  5. Step 5

    Let it boil on medium heat for two minutes.

  6. Step 6

    Remove tea from heat and let sit for ten minutes. The tea should darken the water a little.

  7. Step 7

    Let the green tea cool.

  8. Step 8

    While removing the tea bags give it a gentle squeeze and let drip into the pot. This ensures flavor into the tea. You want to gather the full flavor.

  9. Step 9

    Dispose of the tea bags. Pour half a cup of sugar into a pitcher.

  10. Step 10

    Pour approximately six ounces of the tea mixture into the sugar and stir. This helps to dissolve the sugar. Stir until sugar is mixed well.

  11. Step 11

    Once the sugar is dissolved pour the rest of the green tea into the pitcher and continue to stir.

  12. Step 12

    Pour this most refreshing iced green tea into a glass filled with ice and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • The sugar amount depends on you use your own judgment when adding the sugar make sure not to use too much sugar. My recipe calls for less sugar than the regular iced tea. I want to taste the flavor of the green tea more so than the sweetness.
