Things You'll Need:

  • Stove
  • Pan
  • Filtered Water
  • Glass baby bottle
  1. Step 1

First, take out a clean glass baby bottle and set it on the counter.

  2. Step 2

If you are using formula, heat up filtered water in a pan on the stove on a very low heat.

  3. Step 3

Check the temperature of the water by dabbing some of the water from the pan onto your wrists. The water should feel slightly warm but not warm enough to cause any discomfort on your wrists.

  4. Step 4

Pour the desired amount of water into the bottle and add formula(1 scoop of formula per 2 ounces of water). Shake the bottle well until all formula has been dissolved.

  5. Step 5

If you are making breast milk that is frozen, heat up a warm pan of water and place the frozen bag into the pan. Special breast milk bags are made and can be purchased so they do not melt in heat.
