      Items needed for Candle Centerpiece

Pick up several inexpensive medium jar or pillar candles in different colors from your craft store. You can use coupons or wait for a sale.

    • 2
      Vase with Coffee Beans added

Assemble candle centerpiece by placing a 2-3 inch base of coffee beans in the glass vase. Add more of less coffee beans, depending on the size of the vase and the candle.

      Jar Candle with label removed

Place the candle in vase on top of the coffee beans and press down into the beans, but not to the bottom of the vase.

      Candle jar ring

Remove the lid from the candle jar and place a candle ring around the top. It looks pretty and will help the candle to burn cleaner. Leave as is if you are using a pillar candle.

Embellish your candle center piece by placing it under a pretty placemat, a piece of granite to tie into your granite countertop, etc for a everyday setting.

Play with different color candles and greenery for the various holidays. For Christmas, replace with a red or green candle and add a holly berry candle ring under the candle arrangement. Switch the greenery and use the red candle for Valentine's Day. Change the candle at Easter time with a pastel shade, like a pretty blue, pink, or yellow. When the 4th of July rolls around, you can use a red, white or blue candle. Brighten up your kitchen for fall and Thanksgiving with a Orange candle.

Light your candle and enjoy the ambiance.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use Yankee candles if you enjoy a great smelling candle. Pillar candles can also be used. I prefer the glass jar candles because you don't have to worry about wax dripping into your coffee beans. Remove the label from the jar candle so you can enjoy the color from all angles.

  • Do not leave lighted candles unattended.

  • This is especially nice on a kitchen table as the beans add a fresh coffee smell. If you do not like coffee, not to worry, the scent doesn't last. If you like the scent, add or replace coffee beans.
