How to Package Pillar Candles
Creating candles for yourself (or for a business or gifting them to your family and friends) is a rewarding hobby and sometimes lucrative career. After taking great time and care to produce the candles, you do not want to just throw them in a cheap paper bag or carry them to the recipient gathered into bundles in your fist. The recipient of your pillar candles will appreciate an attractive package.
Things You'll Need
- Bags (paper, plastic, etc) two inches longer than your candles
- Computer
- Printer
- Word processing software
- Scissors
- Stapler

Open your word processing software to a blank page.

Create a label for your pillar candles. Include borders, clip art, fancy fonts and color on your label. To create a label simply type the information you would like included on your label directly onto the blank page. Clicking on tabs like border, clip art etc., will allow you to make a dynamic looking label.

Place your pillar candles into your bag and fold the open end over.

Print and cut out your label.

Staple your label to your package. Staple along where you folded the open end of the bag. You will now have a professional looking package for your pillar candles.

Tips & Warnings
See through bags look the best. This allows your candles to be viewed. Adding ribbons and raffia to your packaging can also dress it up. Sticker paper also makes great labels.
You may have to adjust the size of your label depending on your package size.
