Things You'll Need:
- 2 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 lb. boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 1/2 in. thick
- 2 medium carrots peeled, julienne
- 1 medium red bell pepper
- 4 green onion tops
- 2 packets of Taco seasoning
- 1/2 tsp tomato paste
- 6 cups of cold cooked white or brown Minute rice
- 3 diced plum tomatoes
- Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Water
- Sour Cream (optional)

Step 1
To make Beef Taco Fried Rice, you will need a 12 inch skillet. Put 1 tsp of oil in the skillet and heat over medium heat 1 to 3 minutes or until shimmering.

Cut your steak crosswise into 1/4 inch thick strips. Add steak to skillet. Add 1/2 cup of water and 1 packet of taco seasoning to the steak.

Cook and stir 3-4 minutes or until the outside surfaces of steak are no longer pink. Remove from heat and set aside, keep warm.

While steak is cooking, cut your carrots julienne, slice your red bell pepper and green onion tops thinly.

Once the steak is removed from the skillet, add the rice, 1 cup of water, 1 packet of taco seasoning, the carrots, red peppers, onion and 1/2 tsp. of tomato paste to the skillet. Stir well. Simmer until water is mostly absorbed.

While your rice simmers, chop your tomatoes and set them aside.

Add your steak back to the skillet with the rice and vegetables. Stir well. Top with tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. Serve and enjoy.
