Things You'll Need:
- standard 8 1/2 by 11 3-ring binder
- sheet protectors
-
Step 1
Tear photos from magazines or newspapers of things you would like to have or accomplish.
-
Step 2
Slide these photos or articles into plastic top-loading sheet protectors.
-
Step 3
Keep this binder close by to constantly remind you of your goals.
-
Step 4
Color photos are best since they are more memorable but most importantly read and look at the pictures on a regular basis.
-
Step 5
If your binder has a plastic top-loading sleeve, attach a photo of your main goal: exotic vacation, a sports car, a new home.
-
Step 6
Write a list of your top 5 or top 10 goals on a sheet of paper and insert it into a sheet protector. Looking at sexy photos is nice, but unless you write concrete steps toward your goals it won't happen.
-
Step 7
Having a goals binder is great because it causes you to FOCUS on what's important. Maybe you need a second job or make personal sacrifices in order to achieve what you want in life but the results are worth it.
-
Step 8
Since it's your goals binder, personalize it! This binder is a great form of self-improvement. When you are down or having a lousy day, always look at your goals binder and remind yourself there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
