I have a full head of very thick hair. For years it was unmanageable, frizzy and wild. I like to keep it long and spent 40 years brushing it daily and living with the frizz. This easy way to tame thick hair really works and I love the long lovely curled locks I have instead of frizz.

I could not believe at first how easy this hint is and how fast it works.

First...Stop brushing your frizzy hair when it is dry. Do not brush it anymore unless it is wet. Frizzy hair is fragile and thin even if it is thick and full like mine.

  2. Step 2

Wash and condition as usual but only squeeze the water from the hair. Then brush your hair while it is wet. Keep your hair wet as you brush it by misting it with the water bottle. Brush as you mist.

  3. Step 3

Once your hair is brushed wet all the way through then leave it alone to air dry. Do not towel dry or use a hair dryer because that will only frizz and toss it up again.

  4. Step 4

The most important step is to never brush your hair when it is dry...only brush your hair with water. You can hold the brush under the facet and use the wet brush to comb your hair each morning and within a week you will see a big difference. I have been doing this for a year and love my hair now. Good luck.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add gel or hair spray to hold the hair in place while it is wet.
  • Do not touch hair once dry
