Scrapbooking is a great hobby that can be a lot of fun; however, it can also become very expensive. Even digital scrapbooking, being the fad of today, can get costly when purchasing printable items like paper packs, embellishments and frames. Instead of spending that money, which you could very well pay for a vacation with at the end of the year, save it and make printable scrapbook frames at home in just minutes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Graphic editing software
  • Printer
  • Paper of your choice
  1. Step 1

Choose the size you need for the scrapbook frame and open a new document of that size in your graphic editing software.

  2. Step 2

Fill the entire page with a shape of any size. You can make your scrapbook frames to be any shape that is available in your graphic editing software. Standard shapes usually include, squares, rectangles, circles, triangles, diamonds and many include shapes like fruit, vehicles and household items.

  3. Step 3

Cut out the center of the shape using whatever cutting tool is available. Leave at least 1/2 inch of the shape as the frame.

  4. Step 4

Use the same shapes to create decoration on the frame. Draw the shapes in coordinating colors and then add a 3-D look to the shapes by using the beveling tool.

  5. Step 5

Print using paper of your choice. Set your printer to a high quality setting to provide the best results.
