How to tweet at Someone On Twitter

Twitter is a one of the most popular website on the internet. In short it is a 140 character micro-blog that has changed how we interact and gather information. I'll be going over a fundamental tool you should learn on the site, how to "tweet at" someone. With this simple tool you will be able to grab the attention of whomever you tweet at.

Things You'll Need

• Twitter Account
• A Working @ Key

Instructions

1. Log into your twitter account. If you don't have one create one by clicking on their "sign up now" button. Creating an account is easy and can be done in five minutes.

2. Look to see who you would like to tweet at and remember their username.

3. Place an "@" symbol by holding down the "shift" key and hitting "@" on your keyboard, then type the name of the twitter account you want to tweet at. The "@" and the username must be connected. Examples: @cookiemonster

Tips & Warnings

• You can tweet at more than one person in a single posting. Example:@cookiemonster and @miketyson I'll see you this weekend.

• Twitter is not cap sensitive, meaning you don't have to capitalize any of the letters of the username you're tweeting at.
