Shopping at CVS pharmacy has its rewards. Their loyal shoppers card (Extra Care card) allows you to take advantage of these rewards in several ways. It is entirely possible to get such great deals that you pay little to nothing for household and grocery items there. Here's what you need to do to get your CVS pharmacy coupons and start saving money today.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sign up for the CVS card in the store or online at cvs.com. On the website at the top, right-hand corner, click "get your Extra Care rewards today". It will take you to a screen with frequently asked questions about the Extra Care Card. If you already have an Extra Care card, you can go online to link your card to your account.

  2. Step 2

When you visit the store, find the coupon machine to scan your card. It looks like the price-checker in a grocery store. All you have to do is scan your CVS card and it will print two CVS coupons for you. If the printer is out of paper, let one of the store employees know so you don't miss out on your savings.

  3. Step 3

Use your Extra Care Bucks and coupons in the store or online. To use your rewards for an online purchase, go the Extra Care rewards page and click on the description of the coupon. In the shopping cart on the checkout page, click "use coupon/Extra Care rewards" to apply it to your balance.

  4. Step 4

When you're in the store, pick up the booklet at the front with clip-free coupons. Clip-free coupons are discounts that are given on certain products that automatically come off the price at the checkout counter. Combine these long-term sales with printable manufacturer's grocery coupons for even more savings.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can manage your Extra Care account online. You'll need to establish a password and provide an email address, though.

on 8/21/2009 Thanks. Yes, it is great. Sometimes after I've applied ECB's, coupons and sales, I end up paying $0 for all my stuff. Free stuff I would normally pay lots for is wonderful.
