In today's economy, is needed to take some extra steps to save money. One way to save money if you are a reader is to swap your books that you no longer need for books that you have been wanting to read. There are a few places that you should check out to swap.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Go through all the books that you have read and make sure you are ready to get rid of them. some books you could probably read over again because the author of your book is that good. Keep those ones.

  2. Step 2

    Go online and search "book swap". You will come up with a few different web sites like Bookmooch.com or Swaptree.com. Make sure you have the books in front of you because they will as for a ISBN number and the condition of the book so the person who is looking for that book will be able to find what they want and know the condition of it.

  3. Step 3

    Put in your ISBN numbers of the books you are going to get rid of, and then also you can do a search of books you are interested in within that website. This tells other people what books you are looking for and you will be more likely to receive those ones for your future swap.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you have books to trade or swap with.
  • Keep brown paper sacks handy around the house to have something to ship the books in.
  • Keep track of which books you are suppose to receive. If you don't receive the book you were suppose to, contact the website that you are swapping in.
