How to make a SUPER easy cloth, reusable grocery or shopping/market bag.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Take an old T-shirt you don't wear anymore and cut the sleeves off as close to the shoulder seam as possible, without cutting into the actual seam. If you must cut into the seam, be sure to serge the armholes so they are reinforced.

  2. Step 2

Also cut the neckline larger, removing the original neck trim. Be sure this hole is big enough that you can fit larger items in it such as large fruits or boxes.

  3. Step 3

Flip shirt inside out, Sew bottom of shirt closed. If you plan on carrying a lot of items, try a french seam (place shirt right side out, sew bottom closed. trim close to seam, flip inside out, and stitch it again. This will encase the seam)

  4. Step 4

Flip right side out, and Ta-da! You have a bag!
The Sleeves are now the handles, and the bottom is closed up :)
