How to Play the MegaMillions Lottery

   First, you have to buy your Mega Millions lottery ticket from one of the states mentioned above. You can go to a grocery store that sells lottery tickets or a gas convenience store to by tickets. You can also go online to the Mega Millions official website and order online if you can't make it out to a physical store location to buy your ticket.

2. Tell the cashier the dollar amount you'd like to spend on your Mega Millions ticket. You have the option of picking your own numbers on a grid or having the lottery machine pick random sets of numbers in what is called a "Quick Pick."

3. 

   Once you have paid for your ticket(s),keep them in a safe location until the drawing goes off. You can find out the winning lottery numbers by tuning in to television news or by going online to the lottery official website to get the official winning numbers.
