Pear vinaigrette is sweat tasting and easy to make. This pear vinaigrette goes well with blue cheese and raspberries. You can also pair it with duck or chicken. This is a great way to use pears that will not be good for much longer.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 5 pears
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup olive and canola oil blend
  1. Step 1

Start by peeling and coring your pears. Cut the pears into slices.

  2. Step 2

You will need to lightly coat a pan with cooking oil. Add the pears and sugar cook on medium heat until the pears are caramelise. They will be a light brown color. There should be a syrup in the pan and the pears will be tender.

  3. Step 3

Cool the pears and the syrup in the fridge.

  4. Step 4

Put the pears in a blender and add the apple cider vinegar. Slowly pour the olive oil and canola blend with the blender on medium. This is going to create a creamy pear vinaigrette. If the pear vinaigrette is to acidy add a little more oil slowly. You can store the pear vinaigrette for 3 days covered in the fridge.
