How to Install your Zune Software
The Zune Software is the official program for all version of the Zune media player and the content distribution program for digital audio and video. Similar to other media players, the Zune Software allows you to categorize and manage your media library and transfer content to the Zune. All Zune settings and firmware updates are also applied through the Zune Software. The Zune Software is free and has a very quick installation process.

Open the Zune website in a Web browser. Move the mouse pointer over the "Products" button and click "Zune Software."

Click the "Download Now" button. You will be prompted to create a Zune account or download the Zune Software. Click the "Download Now" button again. The ZuneSetupPKg.exe file will begin downloading.

Double-click the "ZuneSetupPKg.exe" file. Click the "Accept" button to accept the Microsoft License Terms. Click "Install" to begin the installation.

Open the Zune Software after installation by double-clicking the "Zune Software" icon placed on the desktop or from "All Programs" in the Windows Start menu.
