  • Patience
  • Binder
  • DVD or CDs
  • Board Games
  • Large Pouch or Bag
  1. Step 1

Buy or find a binder(any color) that is large enough to store multiple papers. Get some colored or tabs with letters and organize them to the binder(a,b,c) and put the clients last name in the tab that has the first letter of their last name( example:Put Johnson's info under the tab marked J.).
Make sure to include the Emergency papers and Contact papers under their name( make sure to fill them out during your interview with the clients).

  2. Step 2

When you arrive to babysit, make sure to bring the binder. Also bring ( make sure the parents approve) some G rated DVDs or music to your stay. It depends on the age of the children, what games you bring. You can bring games like Guess Who or Sorry to 5 year olds and bring play dough to toddlers. *ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE PARENTS AT THE INTERVIEW.
