How to Make a Punk Vest

if you want to make a custom punk vest follow these instructions

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• a vest or jacket
• studs and spikes
• patches(sayings bands)
• leather punch(if u have a leather vest)
• knife
• screw driver(if u bought screw on spikes)
• jewelers plyers (sorry i dont know how to spell those words)
• a sewing machine or needles and thread

1. take the vest and lay it down flat on a table

2. take your patches and set them in random places and decide where you want them

3. sew them glue them or safety pin them on so they stay

4. 
    

   then if you have a screw on spike use the leather punch and twist it in the hole u made then put the screw in the hole standing up put the spike on it and twist the use your screw driver to tighten it on

5. 
    

   if you bought spikes with prongs push the prongs where you want the spike to make an indent the use your leather punch to make a hole and put the spike in use your jewlers plyers and twist on the prongs tight

6. the after youve got all of your spikes or studs on try it on and wear it proudly because you made it and no 1 has a vest like that

Tips & Warnings

• spikes can be purchased online from studs and spikes.com angry young and poor.com and crust punks.com same with patches
• u can also get patches from T shirts or anywhere else like local stores
• be careful if you use a knife to make the holes for spikes the knife will slip thrugh an u will get cut
• do not sew patches on leather us a hot glue gun or super glue because u will ruin your sewing machine or break the kneedle
