People have suggested spraying your crock pot with a non-stick cooking spray before you use your crock pot, but I have not done this and my crock pot still gets clean.

    • 2

After cooking in your Slow Cooker/Crock pot, put a little dish soap in it and fill it with hot water. Be sure not to get the cord immersed in water. You can let your crock pot soak overnight.

    • 3

Buy an SOS pad to use to clean your crock pot. If you can not find the name brand, buy the store brand. It works just as well.

    • 4

Empty out the water that was in the crock pot. Don't wash the crock pot in the sink. You want to put the crock pot on its side so that the water can run off into the sink as you start to clean and rinse it.

    • 5

Start cleaning the crock pot. Clean thoroughly. After the crock pot is clean, wipe it out with a dish rag and then dry with a paper towel.

    • 6

Wash and dry the lid and place upside down in the crock pot then store it until you need it again.
