Losing weight is hard enough on it's own, but losing facial fat can also be quite a challenge.
This is because often times when losing weight facial fat will be the last to go. But you can help speed things up by following these tips in how to lose the weight in your face.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Reduce or eliminate your alcohol consumption:
One good way to lose the weight in your face is to cut back on drinking. Drinking alcohol is one of the quickest ways around to give you a puffy face. It's best to cut it out completely but if that's not possible at least cut it back to one or two drinks a week. If you do this you're going to see some great results in just a couple of weeks.

  2. Step 2

    Cut back on salt:
It's an unfortunate fact that salt causes bloat, which will also give you a puffy face. So in order to lose weight you're going to have to drastically reduce your salt intake.

  3. Step 3

    Drink water:
Being dehydrated can also cause bloat so it's always a good idea to drink plenty of fresh water. Fresh filtered water is best. If you don't have a water filter just pick up a Brita water filter, they do a good job and are very economical.

  4. Step 4

    Eat your vegetables:
Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to help speed up your weight loss and thin down your face.

  5. Step 5

    Talk to your doctor:
Some medications can cause bloat and puffiness. So you might want to check with your physician and see if this is your problem. It's possible that he might be able to switch or reduce your prescription.

  6. Step 6

    Try cosmetic plastic surgery:
If you have the time and cash you might try cosmetic plastic surgery and remove the facial fat with liposuction. If you do opt to go this route just be sure to thoroughly check out the Plastic Surgeon and make sure that he or she is actually qualified and has no malpractice suits.

Tips & Warnings
  • Cut out sugar and processed foods, all of which contribute to bloat.
