Finding and hiring qualified and reliable employees can be a daunting process. However it can be made easier by always being on the look out for quality personnel, don’t wait until you need to fill a position to start looking. Read below for 4 tips on how to obtain reputable employee leads.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Recruit from high school or college campuses. You can often find qualified and enthusiastic employees willing to start at the bottom and work their way up.

  2. Step 2

Stay in contact with temporary agencies and staffing firms. They are more likely to send you a quality employee if you have a prior relationship with them.

  3. Step 3

Advertise online. There are many online sites such as monster.com, hotjobs.com, careerbuilder.com, etc…that cater specifically to employee recruitment. Craigslist, which is more localized, is also becoming a powerful recruiting tool.

  4. Step 4

And probably the best way to find quality employees is to ask for referrals. Tell friends, family members and business associates what position you are seeking to fill and explain to them the characteristics you are looking for in an employee. Often times someone will know someone who fits the bill!
