How to Remove the Memory Card from your Cannon Digital Camera

New camera's are loads of fun, and the latest digital camera's from Canon or any other manufacturer for that matter, take a little getting used to. Starting with the basics is vital to learn the ins and outs of your new electronic devices. Here is some basic information on how to remove the memory card from your Canon digital camera! (In this How-to I use a Canon SD750 Power Shot)

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Digital Camera
  1. Step 1
     

    To remove the battery from your digital camera, you need to place your thumb on the rubber grip on the bottom of the camera where it says CARD/BATT.OPEN>.

  2. Step 2
     

    Now applying pressure slide this little door outwards away from the body of the camera and it should click and release. The door stays attached, but now you can swing it out of the way to access both the battery and the SanDisk memory card.

  3. Step 3
     

    At this point you will see the battery and the small SanDisk memory card in the recess. Push down gently onto the top of the memory card until it clicks.

  4. Step 4
     

    This will release it and it will spring up about a quarter inch so that you can grasp it and pull it out of the camera. Pull the memory card out of the camera.

  5. Step 5

    Lastly, be careful with the memory card, it is easy to lose and very delicate!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't lose the card!
