Reward programs. Sign up for every hotel reward program because you never know where you will stay next. Marriott, Hilton, Choice Hotels, Super 8, they all have them. Hotels.com also has a buy 10 get one free program. Make sure you give them your number whether it is business or pleasure.
Don't forget online reward programs like ebates, where you earn cash when you stay in a room too. -
Step 3
Other ways - try asking for a room upgrade. In Las Vegas it is common for hotels to bump you to a suite or give a room based on your gambling. The room pictured is a bump from a late check in to a suite at The Orleans in Las Vegas.
Blog about hotels or write about them for websites. Writers get offered rooms to post reviews about their stays.
