How to Pray The Catholic Rosary

Praying the Rosary is an easy way to meditate and pray to God. However, it can be hard to remember all the steps, and which order, you are supposed to use to pray the rosary. Hopefully, this article will help fill in the blanks.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• A Rosary
• A quiet place
• Time to pray

1. 
   Crucifix Example

   While holding the Crucifix (the cross at the end) in your hand, make the sign of the cross and say the Apostles' Creed

2. On the first large bead, recite the Our Father.

3. On the next bead, say the Hail Mary. Repeat until you have said the Hail Mary three total times.

4. You should be on the 5th bead. Recite the Glory Be.

5. Next, identify the 1st mystery and meditate/think about it and what it means to you. You should be on the larger bead. Then recite the Our Father.

6. Recite 10 Hail Marys, starting on the 7th bead. After each Hail Mary, move onto the next bead.

7. Recite the Glory Be, followed by the 2nd Mystery and the Our Father.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7, substituting the 2nd mystery with the 3rd, 4th, etc. until you come back to where you began

9. 

   Now, conclude with the Hail Holy Queen. Do the sign of the cross, and you are done! Hope this was a helpful guide.
