Instructions

    • 1

Enroll in a driving school and/or have someone you consider a good driver give you driving lessons. If possible, it is best to have both a driving instructor and a friend teach you, that way you can learn different aspects of driving that the other may not have.

    • 2

Learn the roads you will be driving on for the road test so you can be more comfortable with your sorroundings.

    • 3

Stay calm. Before you take the test, make sure to take deliberate breaths to calm your nerves, and make sure to open your eyes as wide as possible to get your eyes accustomed to the busy roads.

    • 4

Now it will be time for the actual test. Pull out of the parking spot directly into traffic. If there is space in front of you DO NOT drive foward and slowly merge into traffic. Pull directly out and merge with traffic.

    • 5

Stop at all traffic signals and stop signals when making a turn and make sure to make exaggerated head turns so the instructor knows that you are looking both ways and being cautious.

    • 6

Come to the intersection of the road when making left turns. Make sure to spot the middle of the intersection before you get in it so you know when to stop.

    • 7

Next is the parallel park. Make sure to signal when pulling up to parallel park, and then again when you start to reverse. Check all mirrors for incoming traffic and pedestrians. Sometimes you won't have to park between two cars, but just between one so you shouldn't worry too much about bumping into cars behind you.

    • 8

Pull back into the parking spot following all the same rules you learned and do not take off your seatbelt or get out the car until the instructor has finished talking to you. If you have followed these steps you should be able to pass the road test with ease.
