Step 1
The first step to activating your inner strength is to allow any set backs be a part of the reason for your push forward. No matter what, the past can and will effect you, but it is solely up to you how you allow it to effect you. Therefore, when you reach for that inner strength, reach for those people who said that you could never, snatch up that boss that fired you, and then take all that negative energy and make it a positive force in your life, causing you to push forward and take back the strength they so tried to take from you.

Step 2
Know that the only person stopping you is yourself. Being put down and beaten up in your life could have weakened you, however, it didn't kill you. Things that are living still have the chance to thrive. Therefore, look deep down into the root, the beginnings of yourself, and then pull out all the weeds that are choking any terrible perceptions that you have of yourself.

Step 3
Finally,live out your purpose. One of the worst enemies of an individual inner strength is an inner strength that belongs to someone else! Far too often, people are unaccepting or either bored with themselves so much to the point that they adopt another person's strength and focus on making it theirs. The problem with this is that it is a waste of time! Sure, incorporating great qualities from others is great, however, learn to incorporate yourself into yourself first! The strengths inside yourself, you are basically born with. Use them and be the best you that you can be.
