For whatever reason, clearing the history on an internet browser maybe be occasionally necessary. Different internet browsers have different methods to clear the browsing history. Here's how to clear Firefox browsing history.

Things You'll Need:

  • A Mac or PC
  • Mozilla Firefox
  1. Step 1

    The first step is to open up Mozilla Firefox. Either find it in your Start Menu (if you are using Windows), or your Dock/Applications folder if you are using a Mac. Firefox may also have an icon on your desktop.

  2. Step 2

    Now that Firefox is open, you can go about clearing Firefox browsing history. To do this, simply click on "Tools", and a drop down menu should show up. Next click "Clear Recent History". A window should pop up. It will ask you how far back you want to delete your history. There is also a "Details" button that will allow you to select what other files you would like to delete. Then hit "Clear Now", and your history will be deleted!

  3. Step 3

    There is a faster way to clear Firefox browsing history. After you open up Firefox, simply press the following key combination: Ctrl+Shift+Delete. This will bring up the same window as before. Press "Clear Now" and your history will be deleted. Congratulations, you have cleared the Firefox browsing history!
