How to Buy a Bonzai Scooter
The Bonzai scooter is a Japanese-made gas-powered scooter that runs on three wheels. It is considered an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). The scooter is driven like as normal vehicle in Japan and can reach speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. Since this scooter is considered a rare type of moped, it can be difficult to find at your local scooter market.

1
Go to the Motor Scooter Shopper website to find local motor scooter dealers (See Resources). Click on your state and you'll see a list of dealers in your state. Call the closest dealers and ask if they have Bonzai scooters available or if they know of other local places that have any in stock.
-
2
Go to eBay to look for Bonzai scooters that often cost less than what the dealers ask for. Through eBay, you should be able to contact the owner with any questions you have about the scooter.

3
Determine the warranties available for the Bonzai scooter you have found. It will be harder to find a warranty with a used scooter. Make sure the scooter has at least a six-month warranty so you can get replacement parts and repairs if you encounter any problems.
-
4
Search online dealer and use the recommended online dealer links from the Motor Scooter Shopper website (See Resources). Try to find a deal on one of the websites that offers free shipping.
-
5
Consider looking at local and Internet-based ATV dealers because the Bonzai scooter is also considered an ATV. The Dealer ATV website is one such resource (see Resources).
