How to View the Lyrics on a 3rd Generation iPod Nano
When you just can't remember the words to a song or if you like to read the lyrics as you listen to your favorite tunes, the third-generation iPod Nano offers its users the ability to add and view song lyrics by using iTunes. By typing the lyrics yourself or copying them from another document, you can have the lyrics you need in a few simple steps.

Open iTunes and select the song you want to add lyrics to. Click "File," then "Get Info."

Click "Lyrics." Enter the lyrics into the text box. You can either type them in or paste them from a word-processing document.

Click "OK" when you are done.

Add the song to your iPod.

Select the song on your iPod that you want to view the lyrics of and press "Play."

Press the center button while the song is playing. You might need to push the button a few times depending on what the screen displays while the song is playing.
